Sydney goes on a Disney Cruise

Sydney in front of cruiseSydney is a bright and energetic little girl, full of life and personality, and you wouldn't know by looking at her that there is anything wrong. However, this 8-year-old was born with a rare blood disorder, so rare in fact that it is still undiagnosed. However, Sydney’s rare anemia demands a blood transfusion every 3-4 weeks in order to keep her healthy and feeling good. In her short life, Sydney has already received 125 blood transfusions. In September, Sydney’s wish to be a princess and go on a Disney cruise with her family was granted! For one week, she was a kid, a princess, a pirate, a detective, a superstar, a dancer, and an explorer – but not a patient. “This wish gave us our first, true family vacation - and that is priceless,” said Sydney’s mom, Lori.
