Noah goes to Disney World!

Noah was just like any normal four year old boy.  He loved to watch Sponge Bob, play Wii games, and eat lots of chocolate when he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma.  Neuroblastoma is a rare disease in which a solid tumor is formed by special nerve cells called neuroblasts.  His days changed from television and video games to hospital visits and treatments.  When Noah was asked what his one true wish would be he said, “I wish to go to Disney World because I like Mickey Mouse and rides.”  Staff and volunteers at Make-A-Wish worked diligently planning Noah’s wish.  He was able to go with his family and take a break from doctors’ visits to have fun just being a child enjoying the magic of Disney World.  This year Noah was the 2013 Make-A-Wish ambassador at Waiting for Wishes.  His family shared his story to raise awareness and funds for Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee.
