EZELL HARDING CHRISTIAN SCHOOL TO CELEBRATE GRANTING JOANA’S WISH TO GO TO DISNEY WORLD WITH A SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT ON WEDNESDAY
The Event: Six year old Joana is battling with Rhabdomyosarcom, which is a malignant neoplasm of the bladder (tumor). Several months ago, Joana learned she was eligible for a wish from Make-A-Wish® Middle Tennessee. Since then, Make-A-Wish staff, Ezell Harding Christian School, and volunteers have been working hard on her Wish behind the scenes. When we asked Joana what she wanted for her wish he told us; she wanted to go to Disney World, so she could see the princesses like she see’s on T.V. On Wednesday, Joana’s family and wish granters will arrive at Ezell Harding Gymnasium where the students will announce to Joana she will be going to Disney World to meet Aerial and all her favorite princesses.
The Background: Ezell Harding Christian School has raised money through several community and school fundraisers, through out the school year. Ezell Harding Students decided to donate their gift to Make-A-Wish® Middle Tennessee to grant Joana’s Wish. This is part of a program called Kids for Wish Kids® and $7000 will be donated to grant Joana’s wish.
