Ravenwood High School Raises Money to Grant a Childs Wish

April 20, 2012

Ravenwood High School 1724 Wilson Pike Brentwood TN 37027

The Event: Paisley Kelley is like any 8 years old girl, she loves playing outside, and watching her favorite Disney characters. Paisley suffers from Niemann-Pick Disease. Several months ago, Paisley learned she was eligible for a wish from Make-A-Wish® Middle Tennessee. Since then, Make-A-Wish staff, Ravenwood High School, and volunteers have been working hard behind the scene, on her Wish. When we asked Paisley what she wanted for her wish she told us she wanted to go to Disney World, so she could meet all her favorite princesses, along with Minnie and Mickey Mouse. On Friday, Paisley’s family and wish granters will arrive at Ravenwood High School, where the High School Student Council will announce to Paisley that her wish to go to Disney World is coming true.

The Background: Ravenwood High School grants a wish for Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee each year. The Student Council host several community and school fundraisers, including their annual dodge ball tournament. Ravenwood is a strong supporter of the Kids for Wish Kids® Program and $7000 will be donated to Make-A-Wish® Middle Tennessee to sponsor Paisley’s wish.
