Micah isn’t a typical 15-year-old boy. He happens to have osteosarcoma, but that’s not what defines him. Micah isn’t typical—he embodies an entrepreneurial spirit like few people his age.
Micah, who started his own lawn-mowing company—Micah & Sons (the “Sons” are actually his older brothers)—used his wish to jumpstart his next business. He wished for DJ equipment and lighting and to be taught how to use it.
“This is amazing!” he exclaimed the day of his reveal party when he entered his family’s church to see the colorful lights flashing and music blasting from his new gear. In addition to his brand new equipment, two professional DJs taught Micah the ropes. Micah intends to keep practicing his DJ skills and book parties and events. He has already DJ’ed birthday parties for his friends and is even booked to DJ a Chi Omega fundraiser this fall.
