The mission of Make-A-Wish is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.  Stars for Wishes was built as a chance for celebrities to join our Middle Tennessee community and show their support for middle Tennessee wish kids.

The 2014 event featured Journey’s Jonathan Cain, Jerrod Niemann, the Oak Ridge Boys.  The Amazing Race’s Caroline Cutbirth and Jennifer Wayne served as the emcees and a gourmet meal was prepared by Chef Louis Osteen.

The evening included exclusive silent and live auction items that were up for bid, and Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee’s Young Leaders Board hosted a Late Party. The entire event was held at the beautiful Omni Hotel & Resort in Nashville.

The proceeds from this evening will help grant more than 130 Middle Tennessee wishes in 2014.

Save the date!  The third annual Stars for Wishes will be Saturday, January 17, 2015.

  • Meet our summer programs intern, Kimmie! Kimmie is getting her masters degree in sports administration at Belmont University. When Kimmie was asked why she wanted to intern at Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee she answered, "I was searching for an non-profit internship to gain a better understanding of how non-profits function, and I knew I wanted to intern somewhere very hands-on and impactful. Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee was the perfect opportunity to gain a lot of experience in the field while making a difference in the community."
