How long have you been involved with Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee?
What is your job? What do you do at Make-A-Wish?
I am the Senior Development Manager at Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. I manage our Kids For Wish Kids program, National Corporate Sponsors, a few local corporate sponsors, a select number of grants and external events.
What is your favorite wish story or experience?
I have had the privilege of getting to know many of our wish families and they are AWESOME. Recently, I was able to be involved in a wish to have a MacBook Pro. The Apple Store opened early for our wish kid, Arianna, to learn about her new computer and pick out accessories and the employees were incredibly engaged with Arianna. They gave her quite an entrance and cheered her on when she came into the store and when she left. After spending a couple of hours in the Apple Store, we had lunch at Carrabba’s and Arianna went home in a limo with her new computer and accessories. Arianna’s wish to have a MacBook Pro will have an impact on her life every single time she opens up her computer to do homework, play games or watch Netflix!
If you could have one wish, what would it be?
My wish would be to be a guest on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke with Jimmy Fallon and Adele. (I think that is a conflict of interest with two different late night show hosts but oh well!)
